I just found myself on a Facebook profile page of a random guy and when I scrolled to the Favorite Quotations section, screenshot below, I started laughing uncontrollably.

Muscle weakening, to me, is a good litmus test for humor. At the present moment I do not know whether I will have the strength, for example, to move the mouse and press the "publish" button.
Recall the Jan Helfeld interview of Congressman Peter "Shut the Fuck Up or I'll Throw You Out the Window" Stark — after watching I was unable to open the disposable soap package in my hotel room, so intense was the humor-induced muscle weakening.
I think that’s hilarious. Anytime you see your name randomly mentioned in a positive way means your doing something right.
Peter Stark looks like a pompous ass, but I felt like defenestrating Jan Helfeld myself after listening to that insistent milquetoast voice of his.
Being interviewed by a spineless character so weak and insipid as Helfeld might drive a better man than Stark to distraction.
Thank you Vince, now I know what’s the one-word for the oft-tempting impulse for `throwing stuff out of the window’ – Defenestrating, wow! that sounds great. Keep it coming.
My pleasure, Krishna.
I learned the word from Arthur C. Clarke’s comic short story The Defenestration of Ermintrude Inch in his collection of “science fiction tall tales”, Tales from the White Hart.
It does sound great, and I love to watch my listener’s reaction when I casually toss it into conversation.
I look for opportunities to do that.
I also owe my debt of gratitude to the literary genius of Ben for having created such a wonderful commenting community while being so young by his relentless dedication to this super blog.
Long live Ben and the community!
And thanks to you Krishna for your regular, and regularly insightful, comments.
Hear, hear!
