Mexican Food Overload

The breakfast buffet this morning in El Paso included nachos.

What a difference from my international travel — most Americans crave good Mexican food when in Europe or Asia. I certainly did. Now, in El Paso, I’m on a hunt for something green and leafy.

Unfortunately, all I find is beans, rice, and queso. So I shoved more of that stuff down my mouth for dinner tonight. And yes, I’m “feeling it”.

I absolutely feel your pain, dude. I spent so much time in Texas this past year and I don’t believe I ever found a good place for a non-Mexican breakfast (save for Austin).

Observing dining options in Texas leads a fuller understanding of why we are saddled with an obesity problem.

Hope the trip is going well!
