Are You a Human Theme Park?

When you represent knowledge, opportunity, selflessness, and intimacy, you are not just a service provider or a product. You are fun, you are interesting, you are valuable; you take people to places they have never been before, you show them books they have never heard of, you introduce them to people they never dreamed they would meet — in short, you are the equivalent of a human theme park.

Hi Ben, this is dalia from 06 at uhs. I got a blog to share poetry and fiction writing with bay area friends who are now scattered across the country, and somehow i happened across yours, and noticed that one of your “bookmarked” blogs is Matt Blumberg, who is the CEO of Return Path, the company i work for out here in NYC. Life is just too weird….anyway, hope you’re doing well!

PS. The Year of Magical Thinking is definately the best book i’ve read in the past year, Joan Didion is for sure one of my favorite authors!
