I’m pleased to announce that John Wiley & Sons, the oldest publishing company in America, has acquired the exclusive worldwide rights to my book My Start-Up Life.
I will be published under their San Francisco imprint Jossey-Bass, whose recent books include Authentic Leadership by Bill George and all of Patrick Lencioni’s business fables. In their own words, "Jossey-Bass is a recognized and respected publisher of the very best leadership and management books that both inspire and provide practical insights and advice." The Jossey-Bass / Wiley relationship is such that I gain the benefit of lots of face time in San Francisco with an imprint that boasts a "West Coast" personal style of operating (author friendly, laid back), with the resources and prestige of a New York parent publishing company.
I am honored to be associated with a premier publisher who can help my story reach the largest audience. I’m also grateful that they have fast tracked the book for May 2007 publication, which fits perfectly with my gap year schedule.
In due time I will provide more details about my book. Meanwhile, the crazy schedule continues to hit the due date!
